Wood Anemones and Hazel

The wood anemones carpeted the woodland floor in this area of coppiced hazel. It is difficult to expose for their brightness as they open to the sun in early spring. Using a polarising filter removed some of the glare but a further adjustment in the exposure was still necessary to capture the bright white.
