Sunlit Bracken

As I write this in December I have just come back from a walk past this patch of woodland. At the moment it is bare and cover in this years fallen leaves. It hardly seemed like the same piece of wood as photographed here.

In a couple of months the wood anemones will appear, followed by the bluebells in April and then the bracken will reappear hiding the woodland floor foe another season.
